1. Accounts

If you are using our services on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these terms.

2. Course Enrollment and Access

When you enroll in a course on My College Finance, LLC, you receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access the course content for your personal, non-commercial use. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works from, publicly display, or publicly perform the content unless expressly authorized in writing by My College Finance, LLC.
 

We reserve the right to modify or discontinue courses at any time, for any reason, without notice. Your access to course content may be revoked if we find you in violation of these terms.
 

By purchasing a subscription plan, you agree that your subscription will renew automatically at the end of each billing cycle until you cancel. The renewal will be at the same rate as the original purchase unless otherwise specified. Depending on the selected plan, you will be automatically enrolled in the "Understanding Credit Fundamentals Course" immediately after purchase. Promo codes can be applied during checkout, and their terms will be honored as specified. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for details on how your personal information is handled.
 

2A. Financial Education Disclaimer & User Responsibilities

You acknowledge and agree that:

3. Payments and Refunds

All payments for courses and services must be made using a valid payment method. By making a purchase, you authorize us to charge your selected payment method for the full amount of your purchase.

Please note that all sales are final, and we do not offer refunds. Once you have enrolled in a course, you will not be entitled to a refund for any reason.

4. Content and Behavior Rules

You agree to use our services for lawful purposes only. You are responsible for any content you post or share on our platform, including reviews, comments, and course submissions. You must not post any content that is illegal, defamatory, infringing, or otherwise objectionable.

My College Finance, LLC reserves the right to remove any content that violates these terms or is otherwise deemed inappropriate. We may also suspend or terminate your account for any breach of these rules.

4A. Data Accuracy and User Input Responsibilities

You are solely responsible for the accuracy and completeness of all financial and personal information you input into our applications and tools. You agree to:

• Provide accurate financial data including income, expenses, savings goals, and other financial information

• Update your information promptly when your circumstances change

• Verify all calculations and results independently before making financial decisions

• Generated documents reflect only the data you have provided and our educational calculations

• We do not warrant the accuracy or suitability of generated documents for any specific purpose

To the fullest extent permitted by law, My College Finance, LLC disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. We do not warrant that our services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

In no event shall My College Finance, LLC be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use our services, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

6A. Third-Party Service Dependencies

Our applications and services rely on various third-party providers including but not limited to Wix, Google Services (Sheets API, Drive, OAuth), SendGrid, EmailJS, Neon Database, and other external services. You acknowledge that:

• Service interruptions may occur due to third-party provider issues beyond our control

• We are not responsible for the privacy policies, terms of service, or data handling practices of third-party providers

• Third-party service changes may affect the functionality of our applications without prior notice

• We reserve the right to modify, replace, or discontinue third-party integrations at any time

6B. Technical and Integration Risks

You understand and accept the following technical limitations and risks:

• Data synchronization across multiple platforms may occasionally result in delays or discrepancies

• Client-side data processing in your browser may be affected by your device's security settings

• PDF generation and email functionality depend on your browser's capabilities and settings

• Cross-origin resource sharing (CORS) policies may affect application functionality

• We cannot guarantee data integrity during transmission to or from third-party services

7. Application-Specific Terms

7A. Savings Goal Calculator

When using our Savings Goal Calculator application, additional terms apply:

• Guest users are limited to 3 savings goals and 1 PDF download per day

• Circumventing usage limits through technical means is prohibited and may result in account suspension

• Browser fingerprinting and IP tracking are used to enforce guest user limitations

• Goal calculations are estimates based on your inputs and do not account for market fluctuations, inflation, or unexpected expenses

• We do not provide investment advice or recommendations for achieving your savings goals
  
  

7B. Budget Calculator (50/30/20 Rule)

When using our Budget Calculator application, additional terms apply:

• Budget allocations are based on the general 50/30/20 financial guideline and may not be suitable for all individuals

• Calculations do not account for debt obligations, emergency funds, or individual financial circumstances

• Generated budget reports are for personal planning purposes only

• Google Drive integration requires separate authorization and is subject to Google's terms and privacy policies

• Chart visualizations and PDF exports are processed locally in your browser

8. Guest User Limitations and Restrictions

Guest users (those without registered accounts) are subject to the following limitations:

• Daily usage limits as specified for each application

• Limited access to features and data export capabilities

• No data persistence between sessions

• Restriction on creating multiple sessions to circumvent limits

Violations of guest user restrictions may result in temporary or permanent blocking of access. We reserve the right to require account creation for continued use of our services.

9. Data Processing and User Analytics

We may collect and analyze aggregated, anonymized usage data to improve our services. This may include:

• Application usage patterns and feature utilization

• General financial goal categories and budget ranges (without personal identifiers)

• Technical performance metrics and error reporting

All analytics data is processed in compliance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection laws.

10. Force Majeure and Service Availability

We strive to provide reliable service but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. Service may be affected by:

• Third-party service provider outages or maintenance

• Technical issues, server maintenance, or infrastructure problems

• Natural disasters, government actions, or other events beyond our reasonable control

• Necessary security measures or emergency interventions

We will make reasonable efforts to provide advance notice of planned maintenance when possible. We are not liable for any damages resulting from service interruptions due to force majeure events or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

11. Dispute Resolution and Arbitration

Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of our services shall be resolved through binding arbitration rather than in court, except that you may assert claims in small claims court if your claims qualify. The arbitration will be conducted by a neutral arbitrator in accordance with the American Arbitration Association's rules and procedures applicable to consumer disputes. The arbitration will take place in the State of Georgia unless both parties agree to a different location.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless My College Finance, LLC, its affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including legal fees, arising out of or related to your use of our services, violation of these terms, or infringement of any third-party rights.

13. Online Event Code of Conduct
At My College Finance, we aim to create safe, respectful, and supportive online learning environments. By registering for or joining any My College Finance online event (including webinars, live sessions, or virtual workshops), you agree to the following additional terms:
 
13.1 Respectful Participation
Participants must engage respectfully with speakers, hosts, and fellow attendees. Offensive language, harassment, disruptive conduct, or off-topic communications will not be tolerated. My College Finance reserves the right to mute or remove any participant who violates this policy.
 
13.2 Age Restrictions
Participants under the age of 15 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. This ensures a safe and supportive environment for younger learners.
 
13.3 Event Recordings and Use of Likeness
Events may be recorded (video, audio, screenshots, or chat transcripts) and used by My College Finance for educational, promotional, or marketing purposes. By participating, you grant My College Finance a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use your name, likeness, voice, and contributed content (such as questions or comments) in such materials, unless you notify us in writing prior to the event at Contact@mycollegefinance.com.
 
13.4 Registration Requirements
All attendees must register individually. Event links may not be shared with unregistered users.
 
13.5 Free Events and Refund Policy
Our online events are provided at no cost. Since no fees are charged, refunds are not applicable.
 
13.6 Privacy and Safety
Personal information collected during registration or events will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Participants should not share sensitive personal or financial details during events. If breakout rooms or group discussions are used, conversations must remain respectful and appropriate.
 
13.7 Educational Purpose Only
Events are intended for educational use. Information shared should not be considered personalized financial, legal, or investment advice. Participants seeking individualized guidance should consult a licensed professional.
 
13.8 Enforcement and Consequences
Violations of this Online Event Code of Conduct may result in removal from the current event, denial of access to future events, or reporting to appropriate authorities if unlawful conduct occurs.

14. Governing Law

We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, legal requirements, or for other operational reasons. If we make material changes to these terms, we will notify you by posting the updated terms on our website and updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. For significant changes, we may also notify you via email.

If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
